For more than a decade, farmers, community volunteers, and natural resource professionals have been working together to better understand and protect the Sugar River Watershed. Join water quality and soil health specialists and educators as they share what we’ve learned from 13 years of citizen and state monitoring, and what the data tells us about the current health of our waterways.

Discover how farmers are reducing nutrient runoff through conservation practices and learn more about the Farmers of the Sugar River producer-led group and their educational field days and annual meetings. You’ll also learn about the Wisconsin DNR and Extension WAV (Water Action Volunteers) program, how you can get involved, and why community-based monitoring plays such an important role in understanding and protecting our water resources.

Come learn what our watershed data can tell us, and find out how you can be part of its future!
