Description: Ever wonder what Southern Wisconsin looked like before the European settlers arrived? Travel back in time to the mid 1800s with actor and landscape historian, Rob Nurre, aka 'The Surly Surveyor' and hear first-hand how the map of Wisconsin came to be as we know it today. Dressed in period costume to portray one the first General Land Office surveyors, Nurre's unique tours capture the fascinating historical interactions between humans and nature. Meet your guide.
